Didn't expect much from a budget hotel, but the staff made all the difference. Upon check in, Barbara was incredibly helpful and kind; we were there because power was out for Helene. The popcorn and cookies were niceties that I find in more expensive hotels. The breakfast changed daily; it was nice to have some variety to go with the eggs and breads. Power wasn't back yet and Mark was most helpful in securing a third night for us. The owner, GM or whoever is in charge of hiring has done an exceptional job; right down to housekeeping...no small feat in today's job market. My thanks to Barbara and Mark for making our experience a positive one during a difficult time.

We were evacuated due to Hurricane Helene. The staff tried running my card when I opted to pay at Business. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. I think it would be better if an attendant served food . The staff was helpful and attentive. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Convenient location. Clean. Free breakfast was great with lots of options. Free popcorn and cookies in the evenings were a big hit with the grandkids. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Very affordable with discounts and shuttle service available for guests staying due to UF Health Shands Hospital.

Our hotel stay was wonderful. The hotel building itself is average but the staff are the star of the show. They each go above and beyond to turn what would of been a basic hotel stay into a memorable experience. If we end up back in Gainesville this will be our go to spot every time simply because of the exceptional customer service!

I was right around the corner from my daughter, which was a plus. It was soooo comfortable, I slept like a baby. I wanted peace and total quiet and a hot cup of tea after an awesome "really hot" shower. It was perfect! Thank you!

Rooms: Clean, well appointed, comfortable bed Breakfast: Better than most and unlike many hotels they kept it well stocked all they way until the end Staff: Very kind, friendly and helpful Pool: Older pool but it was clean and had chairs and loungers Location: Very convenient for restaurants and shopping, immediate area was quiet and felt safe Special extras: I liked how this hotel was decorated with local pictures it makes it feel like a special stay in Gainesville and not like you could be at a chain hotel just anywhere. They also do cookies and popcorn in the afternoon and have coffee and ice water available all day. I’ve stayed a lot of hotels in this price range and this is one of the few I’d recommend to friends and family without hesitation. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Gainesville.

The breakfast was surprisingly amazing! Although the breakfast area was relatively small, there was variety in the items offered and every member of the family was satisfied!

It was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay again. We are visiting with my brother in law in the Malcom Randall VA Hospital. When I told them why we were there, they said our next booking with them directly be eligible for 20% hospital discount. The staff was excellent!!! The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

The fact that they had a vacancy was huge. This was during our evacuation from Milton. Employees all very nice. Close to stores and restaurants. Permit pets.
